State of WFL: Moving & Grooving
You may have noticed that I launched the new Music by WFL site a few days back. The design is modeled after 1920s newspaper layouts and typography. Bodoni for the flag typeface, a nice condensed typeface for the secondary headings (Libel Suit), and a mixture of serif and sans serif for body copy.
Next up? Designing the Liar's Snake website. I've got the header already done; you can see it here. Right now I'm not planning on putting much copy in the design; just enough to promo the new album. I'll be setting up the MySpace for it soon enough.
The plans for my next two albums are to distribute the S.E. album through Amazon mp3, iTunes, and Shockhound. The blues album will be distributed through Amazon mp3, iTunes, and eMusic. I'm not terribly impressed with Rhapsody or Napster, and I'd like to cut costs just a bit on these.
I've been practicing, and I can finally play and sing at the same time. For some reason, that has been the hardest thing to learn. Now, if I can only get my more complicated rhythms down while singing..
