A Belated Week in WFL: Stuff got done.

I managed to get back into full swing this weekend, finally getting some much needed design work done, such as the above graphic.  What is it, you ask?  Why, it's the header for the new design for my music portal.  Curious about the rest of the design?  You can look at the first rough mockup here.  Note: This is a ROUGH mockup.  There will be a number of differences between it and the final version.

The site itself is modeled after 1920s newspaper design.  One interesting thing to note about this design is the procedure I went through to create it; I started from the bottom up this time, first designing the footer, and then working my way up.  The results are certainly satisfactory, I would say.  As of right now, there is no traditional menu; everything you need to get from the site will be on that single page.

I keep coming up with new blog post ideas, but have very little time to actually write them.  A new topic is actually music composition related, for those curious about subjects such as that.  Once I get the above site launched, I'll start focusing on those (along with the numerous other projects I've got lined up).

I keep meaning to do a new guitar video, but have been distracted lately.  Soon, children.  Soon.
